Illusion av rörelse, antingen att den yttre världen snurrar runt individen eller att individen snurrar i rymden. Yrsel kan höra samman med störningar i innerörat, vestibulärnerven, hjärnstammen eller hjärnbarken. Skador i tinningloben och hjässloben kan hänga samman med anfall med yrsel som ett symtom i den iktala fasen.

An illusion of movement, either of the external world revolving around the individual or of the individual revolving in space. Vertigo may be associated with disorders of the inner ear (EAR, INNER); VESTIBULAR NERVE; BRAINSTEM; or CEREBRAL CORTEX.
