Förhållanden kännetecknade av avsevärd avvikelse mellan den antagna intellektuella förmågan hos en individ och dennes förmåga att tillägna sig nya språkkunskaper eller andra kognitiva färdigheter. Sådana störningar kan ha sin grund i organiska eller psykologiska tillstånd. Ganska vanliga arter av störning är dyslexi, dyskalkyli och dysgrafi.

Conditions characterized by a significant discrepancy between an individual's perceived level of intellect and their ability to acquire new language and other cognitive skills. These may result from organic or psychological conditions. Relatively common subtypes include DYSLEXIA, DYSCALCULIA, and DYSGRAPHIA.
