Cykliskt guanosin-3',5'-(vätefosfat) (guanosin-5'-monofosfat); en guaninnukleotid med en fosfatgrupp som förestrats mot sockerdelen i både 3'- och 5'-positionerna. Det är en intracellulär regulatorsubstans med funktion som sekundär budbärare. Halten av ämnet ökar som svar på ett flertal hormoner, bl a acetylkolin, insulin och oxytocin, och det aktiverar specifika proteinkinaser. Syn. cGMP.
Guanosine cyclic 3',5'-(hydrogen phosphate). A guanine nucleotide containing one phosphate group which is esterified to the sugar moiety in both the 3'- and 5'-positions. It is a cellular regulatory agent and has been described as a second messenger.
